The collaborative work of Wilson Forward would not be possible without our partners who align and contribute to building community goals. Leadership is provided by the Board of Advisors to guide and support our efforts and the Board of Directors to provide governance and vision for the work of Wilson Forward.
BOARD OF ADVISORS
The Board of Advisors (BOA) serves as an advisory group to the Board of Directors and to the Executive Director of Wilson Forward. The Board of Advisors makes recommendations concerning Wilson Forward and its ongoing initiatives. The Board of Advisors also makes recommendations concerning the furtherance of the organization’s purposes, guidelines, ethics, and any other policy matters that may be considered by the Board of Directors.
Meeting Schedule
Typically, the Board of Advisors meets twice a year. In addition to the two meetings usually scheduled in the spring and winter of each year, the BOA also attends the Wilson Forward Annual Meeting held on the second Thursday of October.
Duration of Term
All Board of Advisors serve for an unspecified term. The BOA is routinely evaluated for representative membership, and the terms of membership are designed to reflect the changes of leadership within the community.
