Cameron Cochran has served as Executive Director of Wilson Forward since 2024, leading the organization's work as a backbone for cross-sector collaboration in education, workforce development, and health and wellness across Wilson County.

​

Cameron joined Wilson Forward in 2018 as Associate Director and has spent the years since building partnerships, deepening relationships across the community, and helping local systems work better together for children, families, and neighbors. Before joining the team, she worked in direct service at Joseph's House in Washington, DC, a residential care home for unhoused adults with serious illness, and later as Assistant Director of The Cline Family Foundation, supporting philanthropic initiatives across the Southeast.

Originally from Greensboro, Cameron is proud to call Wilson County home and brings that sense of personal investment to everything Wilson Forward does. She holds a bachelor's degree from UNC Charlotte and an MBA from Barton College.
